Farewell to Malaysia

Many of the Malaysian school teachers pressured my school’s 2,000+ students to get me a departing gift, resulting in 60 pounds of touching souvenirs (more on that later) as well as dozens of students apologizing to me for not getting me a nice enough gift. Awkward.

As such, I wanted to make something that could be mass-produced yet academic and meaningful. Enter my sets of goal cards, each card listing a weekly English or social goal plus a free bonus fact about your favorite subject, Mark Pan.

I think I thoroughly perturbed many of my students whose definition of gifts fell under categories of stationary, keychains, and candy.

The cards run from November 2011 through their mid-year break in June. Scroll through the cards, starting with the card for this week:
