The photo is taken from my running path at home. It is completely unrelated to the Gorilla Challenge except that, well, it's also in San Jose.

San Jose Scavenger Hunt

I’m looking for two to four Ricky Bobby-like WINNERS near San Jose to form an Amazing Race-like scavenger hunt team and win cool stuff.

FYI, the contents of this post are not intended to be humorous. In fact, I am 100% serious (great song).

Here’s the team I’m proposing:

  1. Two to three Ninja Runners. NRs must be deathly competitive, athletic, and composed at all times. Emotions are for fabricated lives in reality TV and wannabe reality TV like the Jersey Shore. We’re not in it for the entertainment. The featured image is at the top of a hill mountain that I dominate on my runs and will continue to do so in preparation for the Gorilla Challenge.
  2. One to two Ninja Googlers to remotely puppeteer our team. Also must be deathly competitive. Being able to navigate a computer without a mouse is a must, and having a favorite keyboard shortcut is a major bonus (mine is MS Office’s alt+ESV).

There’s a short-lived AmazonLocal deal that expires tonight at 11pm PDT. It includes a ticket, t-shirt, race bib (how cool is that?!), and map for just $20 (usually $50).

Message me ASAP if you’re interested!

So I was really excited to learn a new keyboard shortcut and instead had to listen to that ANNOYING girl teach me to copy+paste. I hate you.

(P.S. alt + tab ftw — best thing ever)

Nances Fran (nice email), it’s ADVANCED copy/pasting! Say you want to copy an image of an excel spreadsheet (to maintain it’s formatting) into a PowerPoint presentation. Copy the cells in Excel as you normally would, then go to PPT and alt+ESV that ish and you get a pretty image of the cells instead of clunky unformatted cells. And alt+tab does not qualify you to be a Ninja Googler, I’m afraid… =)
